Ribs by Vintry @ Bukit Damansara
Just a few doors away from Vintry, Ribs by Vintry has a similar menu but most people come here for their R-I-B-S. Bad business strategy I would say, thou shall never put all your eggs into a basket. But apparently it works another way for Vintry because most of the tables in both premises were seated on the Friday night when we dined in.

It all started with a glass of wine…… Unfortunately it takes only a while before kampungboy spill the beans (insider joke)

Deep Fried Pork Strips. Need I say more?

Braised Pork Ribs. The pork ribs, blanket in a thick bown sauce, were big, thick, meaty. But we were disappointed it does not have the fall-off-the-bone tenderness that we were expecting. Go for the much raved about Barbarian Pork Ribs that AWOL recommends.

Tom Yum Spaghetti. This might sound like a weird combination, but they were DELICIOUS! I can’t stop picking on the crispy pork lards too. YES, you hear me right; you can actually have crispy pork lards in your spaghetti.
Total damage? RM 240++ for a TGIF night filled with wine and all things. Vintry or Ribs by Vintry is one great place to eat drink and be merry!

Ahh the ORIGINAL Vintry, with plethora of pork in all its glory!! The ribs are a given must-order.. but the tomyam spaghetti has totally piqued my interest… lard & tomyam?? Yes, mam!!
