There are days when dinner has to be easy — like Monday through Friday, every week out of the year. Who has got the extra time to whip up 3 dishes, 1 soup after work?
I cook and we eat simple meals on weeknights. That’s why we love rice bowls.
Steak rice bowl (teriyaki sauce) is considered as a ‘treat’ because we got our rib eye steak from the grocer. It is not a cheap cut but the meat quality is so good! Before tucking away at my bowl, I had a great time slicing open the onsen tamago and letting the runny yolk flow all over my beef and rice, it was just heavenly.
Ingredients
- 1 rib eye steak (~300 gram)
- 1 tbsp soya sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp sake
- sliced garlic
- chopped spring onion
