Take your time to soak in the view, spotting famous landmarks and getting a sense of the city’s layout. Or take a break at the SKYTREE CAFE.

Visitors can also stand on the glass floor and take breathtaking pictures of a view like nowhere else! The staff members also can take a picture of you with your camera.

At TEMBO GALLERIA 450 the morning light casts a magical glow over Tokyo, making it the perfect time for photographers to capture stunning shots of the city waking up.
On a clear day, you can easily spot Mount Fuji!

Before Lunch: Visit the Sumida Aquarium

After lunch, take a stroll to the Sumida Aquarium, located adjacent to Tokyo Skytree. The aquarium is home to over 7000 sea creatures, including penguins, jellyfish, and giant rays.
Be sure to watch the penguins at meal time,  where you can see the aquarium’s inhabitants up close and learn more about their behavior and habitats.

And bring home a plushie souvenir!!

    Lunch: Indulge in Japanese Cuisine

Whether you’re in the mood for sushi, ramen, or tempura, you’ll find a variety of options to satisfy your cravings. For a truly unique experience, try a restaurant that offers a view of Tokyo city allowing you to enjoy your meal while marveling at the tower’s impressive architecture.
This sushi set meal at Uorikisushi is good value for money! 2900 yen for such quality and such great view.

I just have to grab a cup of matcha latte from Gion Tsujiri from Kyoto too!

    Afternoon: Explore Solamachi Mall

Solamachi, the shopping complex located inside Tokyo Skytree Town has over 300 shops and restaurants. Solamachi offers a diverse range of shopping and dining options.

Browse through the stores offering traditional Japanese crafts, fashionable clothing, and unique souvenirs. Don’t miss the chance to visit Disney store, Marvel store and more.

TOKYO SKYTREE’s official mascot, Sorakara Chan, is also a great souvenir to bring home. This can be bought at SKYTREE SHOP.

    Evening: Sunset and Night Views

As the day winds down, head out to watch as the tower transforms from day to night, with the twinkling rainbow light (limited-time lighting).
Afterwards, TOKYO SKY TREE will be litted and there are three lighting styles: “Iki,” the spirit of Edo, “Miyabi,” its aesthetics, and the lively “Nobori,” that operate alternately.

The observation decks offer a different perspective of the city, with the lights of Tokyo stretching out into the distance as far as the eye can see.

It was amazing to be able to visit the deck twice, in the morning and in the evening to have different views.

    Dinner: Yoshoku, Japanese Western Food

Dinner was at Ginza Grill Cardinal, a famous yoshoku restaurant famous for their demi glaze sauce. The omurice, hambagu and fried shrimp where yummy!

From the heights of the observation decks to the depths of the aquarium, a day at Tokyo Skytree is a journey through Tokyo’s past, present, and future. Whether you’re a tourist exploring the city for the first time or a seasoned resident looking for a new perspective, Tokyo Skytree offers a day filled with excitement, discovery, and wonder.
