Shiso Dining is a casual dining restaurant in MiCasa All Suite Hotel with a 5-in-1 concept. It’s F&B programme is being overlooked by Chef Takashi from Cilantro, so quality (and yumminess) is rest assured.
There are 5 dining concepts located under one roof – La Terrasse, Shiso, Mizukami Highball, Marché, and Vinifera. La Terrasse is a casual French dining restaurant situated in a terraced area overlooking the hotel’s poolside.
It feels like dining alfresco in a French bistro. The good thing is everything is indoors and covered, so we spared from the unpredictable weather.
Wagyu and Mushroom Pici – with a perfect al dente bite, the pici pasta soaks up all the goodness of that wagyu ragout.
Sticky Toffee Pudding with Brown Butter Ice Cream – moist and fluffy cake drenched in ooey gooey toffee sauce, good pairing with the brown butter ice cream.
Mizukami Highball is a bar inspired by izakayas in Japan specialising in highballs and classic cocktails. Led by mixologist Shawn Chong (previously of Omakase + Appreciate), this bar will serve up a curated range of highballs, specialty cocktails and sake on tap.

We found freshly baked bread, pates, bottles of extra virgin olive oil, caviar, fleur de sel and more Meanwhile, at Vinifera, there’s a selection of reasonable priced wines available (price range ~RM100). They are all hand-selected by Cilantro’s chef sommelier, Guillaume Villien. You can also purchase these wines to have with your food.
Ajitama Truffle – perfectly done ajitama with slightly firm egg whites and luscious custard-like yolks paired with truffle, need me to say more?
Smoke Salmon ala Minute – moist and tender morsels of Norwegian Salmon lightly and delicately smoked, teamed up with refreshing condiments. So good and delicate!
Chicken Liver Pate – Chef Takashi himself has specially sourced the freshest local chicken liver to make this delicious delicacy. Creamy and pungent, just how I like it.
Chicken Paitan – Shiso is helmed by Chef Adrian and the Chicken Paitan is one of his signature dishes. Love the chicken soft bone balls that has a nice crunch as you bite into it, and that hot creamy patina broth is super comforting.
Chicken Katsu Don – I love how Chef Adrian elevates such a simple and common dish, every element is being executed perfectly.
Curry Udon – it is a combination of two of the most loved Japanese foods together, so flavourful and comforting.
