This September, Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur features a glittering array of celebrity mixologists and award-winning culinarians from Four Seasons Seoul, South Korea.
We were excited to try the Korean Set Menu and Buffet that is happening from September 2-8, 2019 at The Lounge and Curate. Traditional specialties with options of two set menus will be served all day at The Lounge.
We were at Curate and were lucky enough to try Chef John’s (from Four Seasons Seoul) delicious creations at a pop-up Korean counter. Along with savouring favourite dishes, there were Korean music playing at the background too! What an experience.
We were told that most of the kimchis and pickled vegetables here were flown in from Seoul!
One of our favourite dishes is the ginseng chicken porridge. Juk (korean porridge) is a must have for us whenever we are in Seoul, and Chef John’s version is flavourful and velvety smooth.
One can easily spot authentic Korean dishes such as Korean braised short ribs, grilled galbi, seafood pancake and etc at the Korean staion.
Bibimbap is prepared a la minute by Chef John. It was really delicious too!

The selection at Curate is as good as ever – definitely one of the best in KL with its great quality of food and attentive services.
Korean Weekend Brunch will be available at Curate from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm. It is priced at MYR 210 per adult for brunch only, MYR 348 per adult with free flow cocktails and wine (with one glass of welcome champagne), and MYR 488 per adult with free flow champagne. Kids age 5 and older eat and drink for MYR 105. All prices are nett inclusive of prevailing taxes.
