The best of the best hotels make you feel warmly welcomed wherever you are in the world. We are referring to our recent staycation at Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur. We were blown away by their customer service, friendly atmosphere and incredible dining. Most of the staffs that we have encountered go above and beyond to ensure that we have a nice stay.
For example, we were being ushered to the executive lounge for check-in. While checking in, the friendly staff played with Asher and even gave him a soft toy.
The staffs also assisted us to our Club Premiere Park-View Room. I’m in love with the floor-ceiling windows that allow us to take in the best KLCC Park and the fountains view! The room comes with privileged access and the comforts of the Executive Club Lounge too.
The room has more than ample space even with an addition of baby cot (later). It is definitely designed with comfort and functionality in mind.
Our five month old little boss has no problem adapting to a new environment, especially in a room with crisp, cool sheets and soft, fluffy pillows. We were glad that he slept so well in the baby cot.
The housekeeping staff also sent us some baby toiletries products and bathtub without asking. Now, that’s what I call customer service!
The room comes with a phenomenal marble bathroom, complete with bath tub, walk-in shower, vanity sink and automatic washlet.
The mini bar is well stocked with snacks and beverages. If you need your daily caffeine fix, there’s a coffee machine with complimentary coffee capsules for you. Tea lover like KampungBoy enjoyed his cup of tea too.
The outdoor pool has the best view overlooking the city and the lounge chair is the most comfortable, as you can see from our sleeping baby.
The Executive Lounge offers breakfast, afternoon tea, evening cocktails all-day refreshments, complete with access to private meeting rooms, concierge services and a range of premium business services. I got to enjoy a great varieties of wines from the wine dispenser too!
All executive hotel lounges are not created equal. Some offer plentiful food and beverage choices while some can be extremely basic, but the one at Four Seasons is definitely one of the best.
KampungBoy was delighted to see his favourite pasembur as part of the spread. It was really delicious, best with a glass of white.
We moved to the outdoor deck that has quite a view of the city skyline.
Our baby enjoyed all the attention that he has been getting from FSKL’s friendly staffs.
We called it a night soon after, accompanied by this mesmerising and uninterrupted view of the capital.
FSKL prides itself on culinary creativity and offers an amazing breakfast spread at Curate, an all-day restaurant.T he tempting buffet spread includes the very best of Malay, Chinese, Indian and Continental cuisine. A lot of the items are cooked ala minute too!
All in all, we really enjoyed our stay in FSKL, so much so that we hardly ventured out from the hotel. What a great staycation experience!
