Brunch @ Mezze Bistro & Bar KL

    Located in the cozy neighbourhood in Medan Damansara, Mezze Bistro & Bar is a casual restaurant serving creative and seasonal dishes in a lively, comfortable setting. We have been here for dinner – the carbonara and spatchcock chicken was really memorable. So when an invite to try out their brand new brunch menu came, we know we are in for a treat. The Weekend Brunch is available on Saturdays and Sundays from 10.00am to 3.00pm.
    The moment we stepped our feet into Mezze, I was blown away by the bodacious pastries selection! Mezze Bistro & Bar is also under the Huckleberry Hospitality Group, so do expect to see their famous croissant, burnt cheesecake, black out chocolate cake and more here.

    Mezze Beef Noodles (RM29) under All Time Favourite is a signature dish here. It is inspired by the popular Vietnamese pho but the recipe is different. Served with bean sprouts, mint leaves, fish sauce, chilli sauce and hoisin sauce, the beef noodles had a broth that was dark, rich and bursting with flavors. The beef brisket was so soft and tender while the oxtail was deliciously gelatinous – sticking together yet falling apart.

    Roast Striploin of Beef (200g, RM 56) served with duck fat potatoes, roasted vegetables, beef jus and yorkshire pudding looked like a hearty Sunday roast meal! It was decent, but no wow factor.
    Goanese Pulled Pork Benedict (RM 34)

    I think I’ve found myself a favourite egg ben in KL! This version of Egg Benedict with perfectly poached egg, hollandaise sauce with perfect consistency and flavour saucy, juicy pulled pork marinated with Indian spices and apple cider was so good!

    How could we leave without trying the famous Birch/Huckleberry Burnt Cheese Cake?
    This Chocolate Marshmallow Pie is made with a creamy mixture of dark chocolate, salted caramel and melted marshmallows! This pie is not only beautiful but it is decadent as well.
    Crepe Suzette (RM 26) served with home made vanialla bean ice cream – it is everything you would want in a hot dessert; its sweet, tangy and buttery at the same time.
