    Those who prefer an intimate dinner as they anticipate the countdown time can enjoy a nice gourmet dinner at Gobo Upstairs. This specially curated NYE dinner costs RM 346 per person for the 6pm to 8pm session (inclusive of one glass complimentary champagne at SkyBar). For the 6pm to 8pm session, the same menu is going for RM 458 per person (food only) or RM 549 per person (food & wine)

    Marinated Lobster

    This refreshing lobster salad is the perfect appetiser – light, easy and refreshing. To complement the delicate, sweet flavour of the lobster, the chef finishes the dish with a simple apple fennel salad, pickled onion and salsa verde.

    Chicken Consomme with Chicken Dumpling and Scallion Oil

    The amber liquid, deeply amplified with poultry flavour, tasted so divine! Even the chicken dumpling was delicious on its own.

    Pan Seared Foie Gras – poached pear in red wine, arugula, mustard

    I think this is the best foie gras that we have tasted this year! We really enjoyed the contrast between the browned crust and  the barely softened centre, almost custard like. It went so well with the poached pear in red wine, arugula and mustard.

    Grilled 150 Days Grain Fed Tenderloin – onion relish, truffle pomme puree, baby carrot, asparagus, broccolini, madeira sauce

    The tenderloin fillets hold in flavour, and delivered tender, juicy beef in every bite. The truffle pomme puree was so smooth and velvety, absolutely divine!

    Pan Seared Cod Fish – prawn mousse, summer roasted vegetables, seafood broth

    The pan seared cod fish totally steal the show! It was pan seared to perfection – shatteringly crisp skin and tender fish, that is not at all dry. The prawn mousse was a flavour bomb, retaining all the delicate seafood flavours.

    Ricotta Cheesecake with mixed berries compote

    By combining both ricotta and cream cheese, the cheesecake was both light and fluffy and smooth and creamy. However, we were too full from all the substantial appetiser, soup and main courses.

    The preview dinner was really good, every courses were being executed beautifully. Hence we would recommend you to welcome the new year in style with a nice gourmet dinner at Gobo Upstairs.
