I was delighted to hear that Shook! Kuala Lumpur is introducing a brand new dining concept and a series of live entertainment themed Saturday Night Vibes. There’s specially curated live music (all handpicked by the immensely-talented Bihzhu) from the local music scene, magic, free flow food and drinks from the very best of Starhill Gallery’s culinary offerings – what’s not to love?
We love the concept of Cirque du Culinaire, an eclectic showcase of signature Asian and European offerings from the various show kitchens in Shook! and around Feast Village namely Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Italian, Latin and Western Grill. The best thing is, signature dishes from Feast Village outlets namely Shook!, Fisherman’s Cove, Luk Yu Tea House, Sentidos Gastrobar-The Latin Grill and Kushi Spice will be passed around by waitstaff throughout the dinner service. If you are still feeling hungry. feel free to grab more food from the various buffet counters.
Saturday Night is nothing without Aperol Spritz, thanks to its vibrant color and refreshing, palate-pleasing character.
Cirque du Culinaire Dinner will be available from 6.00pm to 10.00pm at RM168 per person. An additional cost of RM88 for free flow Aperol Spritz, wine and selected draught beers.

Saturday Night Vibes will also feature some of Malaysia’s best entertainers and Fazz will kick off the first ever Saturday Night Vibes. Theatrical, flamboyant, humorous, and passionate musical entertainers inspired by Broadway, FAZZ brings forth a good blend of theatrical comedy, vaudeville, cabaret, rock and roll, and even jazz, with a unique persona on stage.
Other notable entertainers will include Evelyn Feroza, Reza Salleh, Bihzhu, and Ryot Jones rendering a collection of jazz, alternative acoustic folk rock, soul, reggae, and pop. So come on down and spice up your Saturday nights at Saturday Night Vibes at Shook!
The seafood selection is really huge and fresh. For example, the freshly shucked pacific oysters from Shook! accompanied by lemon wedges, cocktail sauce, tabasco sauce, mignonette sauce were so plump, creamy and sweet in taste.
Snow White Dancing Prawns (SHOOK!)
This signature creation at Shook! is my all time favourite. Who wouldn’t love some deep-fried to perfection prawns coated with hot mayonnaise and sprinkled with chopped honey-glazed walnuts.
Roasted Garlic Chilli Chicken (Sentidos Gastrobar – The Latin Grill)
This traditional Spanish pan-seared minced chicken with chopped garlic, shallots and bird’s eye chilli served with creamy white sauce is fiery hot and full of garlic flavour. So good!
Fish Anarkali Kushi Spice (Kushi Spice)
This has got one of the best dish of the night! An authentic Northern Indian deep-fried fish that is marinated with ginger, garlic paste, chilli powder, cumin seeds and lemon juice and served with Chef’s special homemade mint sauce. I love the light and crispy batter, firm flesh and robust flavour.
Teppan-Style Beef (Shook!)
Grain-fed beef tenderloin cooked on the Japanese iron grill; enhanced with shoyu butter sauce. Served with assorted vegetables as well as Chef’s special BBQ sauce topped with fragrant fried garlic. Great flavours overall, but the beef was a tad too dry for our likings.
Wagyu Beef Cheeks with Truffle Mash (Shook!)
Tender braised wagyu beef with fresh herbs, served with truffle mashed potatoes and finished with rich beef gravy. The melt-in-your-mouth gelatinised and riched flavored beef is the bomb!
Five-Spice Rack of Lamb (Shook!)
Grilled lamb marinated with chef’s special five-spice mix of caraway, cayenne, cinnamon, cumin and coriander; seasoned with salt and pepper. Served with mashed potatoes. Melt-in-your-mouth tender, juicy and flavorful rack of lamb – definitely another star dish of the night!
Tiger Prawns Skewer Seasoned With Togarashi (Fisherman’s Cove)
Fresh tiger prawns skewered on bamboo sticks and grilled to perfection. Seasoned with seven-spice Togarashi, olive oil and a squirt of lemon juice. Firm and succulent, with a sweet, rich flavour, I can’t get enough of these extra large tiger prawns.
Seafood Paella (Sentidos Gastrobar – The Latin Grill)
Sentidoes definitely know the key to a good paella – flavorful broth, right amount of saffron,cooking the rice just right for the perfect texture.
King Prawn Noodles (Luk Yu Tea House)
What a glorious plate of Sang Har Meen! It is a great combination of crispy noodles, firm yet succulent freshwater prawns, and gravy richly flavoured by egg and roe.
Bomb Alaska Cake
It is the perfect ending to our meal as it is refreshing, creamy and looks absolutely impressive. Love perfect pairing of raspberry sorbet, vanilla ice cream and meringue.
Shook! Symphony
Get your phones ready because this dessert platter is totally instagram worthy. There’s berry mousse, double chocolate chip cookies and green tea ice cream, tiramisu, brownie and vanilla ice cream – we were spoilt with choices.
Saturday Night Vibes @ Shook! Kuala Lumpur is definitely one of our best buffet experiences in KL this year. It’s not just about great f&b options, but it also presents a unique sensory experience with live music and magic shows. I will definitely look forward too all the coming Saturdays until the 30th of December.
