Everytime when I suggest to have lunch at ISETAN The Japan Store, KL; my colleagues would shake their head and said “expensive place to eat” or “so atas”. Little did they know that there are actually a few affordable options when it comes to dining at ISETAN The Japan Store. 
One of them is Waza + Cafe that offer 4 varieties of bento boxes each day and each bento box costs only RM 15! I have been preparing my own lunch box to work on and off, and I think that the raw ingredients alone cost more than RM 15, not to mention the time and effort needed.
Saba Miso Bento
Saba-Miso, Takiawase, pickles, fried noodles, shrimp namban, edo tamagoyaki, dashi sweet potato, Takuan (pickled daikon radish), Kayaku Rice
Also my favourite bento box! Love the flavourful gravy from the saba-miso dish, as well as the assorted stewed vegetables especially the daikon.
Katsu Bento
Chicken Katsu, Takiawase, curry pasta, baked vegetables, Takuan, Edo Tamagoyaki, basil potato, shrimp namban, Hijiki rice
The katsu roll was a tad too dry for my likings but otherwise all is good! Great varieties too!
Teriyaki Bento
Teriyaki Chicken, Potato Salada, baked broccoli, egg plant marinade, edo tamagoyaki, Goya Chample, fried noodles, Takuan, steamed rice
You can also add RM3 for an additional order of Miso Soup. Do give these wallet-friendly bentos a try if you happen to be around this vicinity.
