Going on road trips is one of the best parts of our weekends. An abundance of travelers on the road could mean a longer car ride, so if you’re going to embark on a lengthy road trip, here’s some ways to avoid boredom on a road trip.
#1 Take a selfie! It is an obligation for us to take a car selfie before we go on a road trip. It’s for memory sake, and also for social media posting hehe.
#2 Listen to some good tunes. Of course, we can’t drive in complete silence. We always need some good music to kick our highway journey into high gear. Humming along the songs in my favourite CD, while having your loved one seated next to you is the best feeling ever!
#3 Putting on make up. I consider myself an expert in that aspect. You know, we often need to wake up early to embark on a road trip. Any extra minutes of sleep are precious so I will skip my morning make up routine. As we are approaching our destination, it is time to take out that cosmetic pouch. I like how car’s sun visor has incorporated a vanity mirror for the passenger’s convenience.
#4 Drive through eating. The truth is, I really enjoy eating in the car. May it be on the morning commute with a cup of coffee and a donut, or on a road trip with a burger and an oversize side of fries, there is no denying the fact that I love to eat in the car. However, do remember that safety comes first. Normally, I get to indulge as the passenger, then only I will feed KampungBoy with some easy to eat food such as fries and chips.
The cup holder in my car is also very useful in holding my soft drinks or coffees so that I have spare hands for the food.

Hi meme, you are so wrong! Other than great friend and a full tank of gas, our best road trip companion is my reliable little Myvi!
Sometimes, I’ll be the driver while KampungBoy takes some rest. The myvi is so easy to be driven around, the size is just right for me, and it is so easy to park the car anytime, anywhere. I don’t think I’m able to drive other cars for a road trip, seriously.
I think at least 900,000 other people are sharing the exact same sentiment as me.
