Down to Bones is the latest food craze in OUG. This little pop up grill station is located right in front of Hoong Pin coffee shop (same row as Carings pharmacy) every Saturday and Sunday evening.
Be there early, place your order, pay for it, grab your drinks and you will be given a number. Grab a table and wait patiently for your food. We arrived at 7 pm on a Saturday evening and got our food at around 750 pm. The menu consists of three main items:
Pork Ribs – RM18
Lamb – RM16
Chicken – RM 14
Add On: RM 6 for beer, RM2 for canned drinks, RM1 for mineral water
The ribs were quite huge and meaty – good value for money. I love the sweet, sticky and garlicky glaze too! The lamb on the other hand, was a tad too dry for my likings. Grilled chicken is also a very popular choice, so you might want to try that.
