“El Cerdo” in Spanish is “The Pig” and indeed we saw happy piggies figurines and pictures everywhere!

We helped ourselves with the salad and cold appetizer buffet with great selection.
Lomo, Smoked Black Pepper Ham, Chorizo, Salchichion, Roasted Pork with Tuna Sauce, Pig Head Jelly, Pig Trotter Terrine
Pork Liver Pate & French Rilette, Roasted Pork Salad, Pasta Salad, Honey Ham Salad
my absolute favourite – Jamon Serrano and Rock Melon
Slabs of beautiful roasted pork loins were being served at the buffet too. The meat looked really lean, but as we bit into it, it was really soft, tender and flavourful.
This spread is a packed bunch of crowd pleasing appetizers that I’ve handpicked from the buffet table. Cheers to a great Sunday afternoon!
Those were just the appetisers, soon relays of meats and main courses arrived to our table. For the Bubbylicious Brunch, the all the main courses were cooked to order. We really enjoyed the Hickory Smoked Iberico Soft Ribs – succulent, tender beauties that made us smack our lips and lick our fingers until every last drop of sticky marinade.
The Roast Baby Back Ribs were equally good – tender, moist and just slide off of the bone.
Our order of Sausage Platter with pigs in a blanket and sausages of different flavours were served on a bed of potatoes and sauerkraut.
For something saucy and flavourful, the Iberico Ribs Stew was perfect. We kept wiping up the sauce or gravy with breads until we do not have stomach space for pasta such as Baked Macaroni, Seafood Spaghetti, Pork Belly Fettuccine and Spaetzle With Cheese & Ham.
All the food were washed down with ample quantities of wine, beer and cava.
For desserts, we had the Pistachio flavored ice cream. Desserts included in the buffet are Homemade Ice Cream, Sorbets, Homemade Tiramisu and Spanish Chocolate Cake.

We enjoyed a leisurely 3 hour brunch with plenty of bubbly and porky dishes. Since Easter is just around the corner, El Cerdo is hosting this Easter Sunday Bubblylicious Brunch with entertainment all brunch long. There will be clown perfomances and colouring activities for your kids as well! Great opportunities for family gatherings.
