Naza Kia Malaysia Sdn Bhd officially unveiled Kia Cerato at Pavilion KL last week. It is a new benchmark for a sedan in Malaysian market.
It is one of the most highly anticipated car models in Malaysia this year. Even the turn up at the Kia Cerato launch was excellent!
First of all, it carries an affordable price tag for a C-segment. The on-the-road price tags is RM99,888 (1.6-litre) and RM118,888 (2.0-litre) with five-year unlimited mileage warranty.
Kia Cerato is spotted in a sleek exterior which reminds me of some of the European car models. The HID xenon headlamps, puddle lights, pocket lights and LED rear combination lamp makes the car looks ultra cool! There’s even cluster ioniser in the car’s conditioning system (I want!!).
The 1.6-litre variant has a dual-CVVT Gamma MPI engine which produces 130ps and 157Nm of torque, while the 2.0-litre model has a Nu dual-CVVT engine that produces 161ps and 194Nm of torque. The sedan also comes with six-speed automatic transmission and an array of attractive features such as airbags, anti-lock braking system, traction control and LED daytime running lights.
Many were also being impressed by safety features such as improved braking system with a 42.3m brake distance (from 100km/h – 0km/h), ESC, Brake Assist Control (BAS), Traction Control System (TCS), Brake Assist System (BAS), six airbags, passenger airbag switch, frontal collision and side collision sensors, ISOFIX lock-in child seats, safety power windows and sunroof with speed sensing auto door lock and impact sensing auto door unlock.
A highly feature-packed sedan in Malaysia!
Last but not least, a big congratulation to fellow food blogger Adam Ong for driving home a brand new Kia Cerato! Sell half price to me can a?
