Dean & Delucca is one of the most hype about brunch place in Bangkok last year. Since we stayed around the Chong Nonsi train station, we were keen to try out the gourmet selection at D&D. It is located just next to the Chong Nonsi BTS station, on the site of the Mahanakhon Project, what is poised to be Thailand’s tallest building at 303 metres.
We pushed through the giant (I really mean it) doors to be greeted by such a beautiful space. D&D has this seeming flow of light and space as it is being surrounded by enormous windows.
D&D is selling their own brand products such as spices, coffee, tea, candy and olive oil at one corner of the huge space. We did not buy any products as the price is a bit on the high side.
D&D works like a modern deli where patrons place their order, pay up, collect own drinks, place the number card on table, and food will be delivered to their table.
The shop sells a large selection of breads, pastries, desserts, sandwiches, salads, burgers and quick serve food.

There’s no breakdown of the food pricea as I lost my receipt. However as I recall, we spent about 1000 baht for the above food items. The breakfast was good, but not excellent. I don’t mind spending a quaint morning here at D&D if my hotel is around this area but I will not make a trip here from other areas.
