Taitung County, East Asia’s Last Remaining Paradise

Hi all, sorry for the long absence as we were away to Taiwan for 9 days! May I bribe you guys with some beautiful pictures from Taitung, Taiwan?

#1 passed by Hsuehshan Tunnel (5th longest road tunnel in the world) during our 8 hours road trip from Taipei to Taitung

#2 pitstops: time to have some mangoes and peaches

#8 Mr Hsu, a minsu owner from Jiufen cooked up a feast that night

#9 Mr Hwang,  sun minsu owner roasted two chickens at his backyard

#11 we had two types of fishes and clams caught from the coast of East Taiwan, braised pork, wild boar skin, pickled chillies (Taitung specialties) and roasted chicken.

#12 bonus! red bean rice made by Mr Hwang, his specialty!

#13 talked to people coming from different part of Taiwan. we also met with a priest who came from Switzerland but he has been residing in Taitung for the past 50 years.
