A drop dead gorgeous kitchen is like a dream come true for every aspiring Domestic Goddess out there.
Aspiring domestic goddess (ahem)
And in my home, the kitchen is my territory. I remembered how I decorate the kitchen to suit my tastes, how I keep all my gadgets and utensils in place, and how I filled up my spice rack with my favourite spices and seasoning.
When IKEA asked me to write about their kitchen, I almost shed a tear of joy! I’ve always been a big fan of IKEA. Everything I own in my apartment is from that place. Don’t believe? Let me show you some pictures!
From sofa, standing lamp, ceiling lamp, wall storage, book case, tv cabinet to coffee table, curtain, carpet and even photo frame. All from I-K-E-A! ☺
So, there’s no prize for guessing it right where I get my kitchen inspiration from. We designed and ordered my kitchen all in one fell-swoop at the IKEA store. I especially like the IKEA kitchen storage solutions; the cabinet storage keeps everything in its assigned place and it is so easy to find them whenever I’m on a cooking frenzy.
All these came from IKEA too!
Oh and don’t get me started on the soft closing hinges. My cabinet doors always close softly and smoothly and quietly no matter how much force is given. I also like the chopping board and drainer that fit kitchen sink perfectly. Saw my BYGEL dish drainer, BYGEL container and BYGEL rail too?
1)Memorise where all 10 items are placed!
2)Find the 10 items in the fastest time
3)Submit your score!
If you are planning to refresh your kitchen with new items, join the Kitchen Hide and Seek contest. There’s RM500 to be won each week. Just find 10 kitchen items in the fastest time and the RM500 could be yours. You can try as many times as you want and improve your result as it only takes your best score. The contest is ongoing, so if you missed the cash prize for week 1, make a second attempt on the following week because there is a new challenge every week.
And if you are looking for a new kitchen, now is the time to get one from IKEA. For every RM300 purchase on new kitchen, you are entitled to redeem RM30 IKEA kitchen voucher too! There is also a Fagor special package deal: RM2,599 for hood, hob and oven. I’ve been using Fagor hood and hob for over a year now, and they have been nothing but amazing!

thx baby sumo!
nice, I always want Ikea, but would the wood last? Coz I heard Ikea’s furniture’s wood cannot last long…… correct me if I am wrong.
.-= ahsiang´s last blog ..RockMelt- that not quite there yet =-.
hi ahsiang. it depends on whether ur choosing solid wood, plywood MDF or particle board. solid wood is the most long lasting; MDF and particle wood need extra care. So far I find my counter top ok, because I always keep the surface dry 🙂
Wish you 2 good luck in this competition, KBCG 😉
