Addicted to Rice Crisps by Mister Potato

I’m not a rice person. I always skip rice and pick on the main dishes whenever there is a family dinner. “Eat more rice or else some strong wind can easily blow you away,” my mum would always say that with a concern tone on her voice whenever she glares at my tiny frame.

I can’t be bothered and the “rice skipping ritual” continued until I discovered Rice Crisps by Mister Potato, a first of its kind in Malaysia. Just imagine that your plain boring white rice comes with 4 yummy flavours: BBQ, Original. Hot & Spicy, Sour Cream & Onion. Syok!

The Rice Crisps became part and parcel of my life. It kept me company when I’m bored waiting or stuck in a horrible Friday evening jam.

It is also the best hands-down road trip food. Rice Crisps by Mister Potato tastes so light and subtle that I won’t get sick of it. The packaging also makes it much easier to keep eating them over a period of hundreds of miles.

The Rice Crisps became the best quick snacks while I’m working too. The crunch factor does it wonder in keeping me awake.

When I’m burning the mid night oil and hunger strikes, I’ll reach for the Rice Crisps by Mister Potato. So crispy to munch on!

I can finally reply my mummy with a big YES the next time she asks, “sek bao mei (have you eaten)?” because Rice Crisps by Mister Potato is a combination of rice and potatoes.

On a separate note, Rice Crisps by Mister Potato is treating Nuffnangers to a “Snack & Screen” session on the 27th of May 2010. It is a special exclusive screening of Prince of Persia (OMG! Jake Gyllenhaal!) at Cathay Cineplex Damansara, 930 pm. For more information, please go to this Nuffnang blog entry.
