24 hours in Singapore! There’s much to see in Singapore and one day won’t do it justice, but a glutton gotta do what he/she gotta do! We’ll be binging and munching all day, and throw in some shopping for the intervals between meals too! Some walking aids digestion after all.
Rise and Shine! We’ll start our day with some butter kaya toasts and half boiled egg from Ya Kun Kaya Toasts followed by my favourite muddy mud pie and banana butterscotch latte from The Coffee Club!
Ya Kun & The Coffee Club
available almost everywhere.
Having developed some extra baggage around our waist and hips, we’ll gravitate towards the famed stretch of Orchard Road for some retail therapy.
After those rounds of window shopping (exchange rate is surging high!), we’ll do something comforting – lunch at Maxwell Road Market. I have to try out Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice, one of the most frequently mentioned sources of the best chicken rice in Singapore with faces of celebrities plastered all over it’s stall.

Time to burn some fat at Haji Lane, a fashionista’s paradise. You can find beautifully tailored dresses, shabby chic collections and even some quirky pieces here.
Stomach growling for more comes tea time? Let’s head to Holland Village for the famous San Katong Laksa.

Dinner is at the raved about White Rabbit at Harding Road, around Dempsey Road. Situated in a very beautiful abandoned church, White Rabbit serves up Euro comfort food. Though Chef Daniel’s signatures such as macaroni and cheese drizzled with truffle sauce is going to burn a big hole in your wallet, the food is well worth it.
After dinner, head up the hill for some chilly treat – Ben and Jerry’s.

Here comes my favourite meal of the day – supper! Geyland has some of the best local food on the island. The frog porridge from New Lai Lai Hong Yun Coffeeshop remains at the top of my list. At 414 Geylang Road is the famous No Signboard Seafood Restaurant well-known for their black pepper crab and chili crab.
