We were here finally, after reading tekko’s review on this place. We reckon that Starlight must be quite famous among SK folks by judging on the crowds during a normal weekday. The dishes were named after Jin Yong’s ?? martial art novels, for example their famous salt baked fish is called ?????. I forgot all the other names because I’m not really a fans of Jin Yong’s writting.
It’s located at a corner lot. Most patrons prefer to sit at the open space area rather than the spacious indoor.
The chef recommended tofu (????). This is extremely appetizing, the tofu stuffed with fish paste is deep fried and topped over with some thai chilli sauce and shredded greens.
Pineapple pork ribs (???). The pork ribs coated perfectly with sweet and sour sauce are served with some pineapple cubes in a pineapple basket.
Kam Heong Lala (????). Two thumbs up for the extra ommmph cili padi and crunches of dried shrimps.
Overall, the food is good for a casual dinner with friends or family. The total bills comes about rm 40 for the two of us. Their signature dish salt baked fish dried butter crabs are selling fast, so you better make your move earlier next time.

been there twice but still no chance to try their famous ikan bakar, last time the waiter informed me need to wait 30 minutes for that fish, so i decided to postpone it.
Looks like good food at a good price. Any idea how they charge for crabs?
