It’s not hard to notice what is their signature or famous dish. Patrons from different tables ordered the same dish basically. However, getting here is a big headache for us! Thanks to the advanced search engine today, I found a blog which stated the direction to this place precisely!
How to get there?
Take the Pahang roundabout, go towards Setapak. You will see Tawakal Hospital on your left. Go straight. Keep left. On your left, you will pass by a Chinese School, Mc Donald’s and a Shell petrol Station. Immediately after the McD’s, look out for a sign board – Jalan Sentul. Turn left into Jalan Sentul till you reach a traffic light. You will see a mosque on your left. At the traffic lights, go straight for about 20 seconds, look out for the signboard – JALAN SEHALA, turn into the road, find parking, either near the dumpster or further up.
Thanks Gina for your direction!
This is heavenly~! The sze chuan sauce is aromatic, with the right touch of spiciness. The sting ray must be fresh to be steamed in this way.
Siong Tong LaLa (Clam Soup with Shao Xing Wine) – The freshness of clams brings out the sweetness of the soup. They added the right amount of shao xing wine, shredded ginger and wolf berry. I can’t stop sipping the soup!
Highly recommended for epicurians like us! Total bill came about RM 80 for 6 people so the price is pretty reasonable. With the direction given, you have no excuse for not going to Lau Heong to try out their excellent dish.

My boyfriend and I are moving to Sentul area this month and we have been driving around to find a good place nearby we can just run to get dinner. This place sounds awesome and the prices are very reasonable too. We just might be their number 1 customers.
Esther: ya, the ‘nam yu’ fried chicken is delicious. Sadly, we never try curry fish head before. We will give it a try if we drop by there again. Thanks for the suggestion.
Sha: Do give it a try. Hope you like it.
