Hi, thanks for the reply. How do you travel around Taiwan? I’m looking
for a chartered van which can accomodate 10 person which to pick us up
from the airport to take us to the destination we want and on the final
day, to send us back to the airport.
Do you have any idea where can hired chartered van and what is the
estimation cost like?
Thank you.

Hi. I’m from KL Your Taiwan blog is excellent. I am planning to there in early June. I noticed you went in June also. I read that it is rainy season during June. So was the weather very rainy and humid when you were there in June ie quite similar to KL?
Thanks.

Hi Rita
It was summer time during June, the weather is really hot and humid! The rain is not the stormy kind, but it will drizzle in the evening.
I would suggest u to go during spring time

thanks for your blog! Its really informative
I’ll be going in August, would be concerned about the weather since its the summer period. Are those places advisable in due consideration to the weather? Heard its safer to stay in city area…

Well… I’m residing in SG. I suppose the heat should be bearable. Is there any specific part of Taiwan that you would advise to stay away during the August period?

north part is safer, as typhoon usually strikes the south part. however, you should still check the weather forecast b4 your trip.

hi i’m not too sure because this is my first time to bali and I just slot in “places not to be missed” that ppl told me. I guess u can visit other places like gua gajah, more shopping at denpasar, spend more time at kuta town because we were there for one night only. u can also email the driver and ask him to arrange for u.
tegalalang n tampak sireh are about the same. it depends on which route ur driver is taking. or tirtatangga water palace is nice too, according to my sister.
for free n easy, the best thing is to go for spa!!

Posted by ivynpy on July 14, 2010 at 11:41 am
how about your driver, ok anot? will he guide u along the trip n tell u the story behind de place? bringing the place u wan? mind 2 give me his contact number? or any recommend drivers?plz..
goa gajah, i slot in wif pura taman ayun, mengwi..is it nearby?
mind 2 send me ur sis tour list too..?
i’ll check up the tirtatangga..n decide again..
dirty duck dinner, need to book online or just reach there and book a day earlier..others than this do need book others restaurant too? and spa, do i need advance booking?
im sorry to keep asking u 2 guide me..n thanks for the information u provide 2 me..

HI. I read your blogpost on your Perth travel. It has been a very helpful reference.
Anyways, I am interested in renting a car there and noted that you guys picked Red Spot. Was there any particular factor that favoured this company? Your advice greatly appreciated. Thanks much
