What’s on your gym playlist? I do listen to JJ Lin’s Songs while doing cardio workout on the treadmill or doing crunches on the floor. I kept shuffling his songs like 木乃伊, 豆浆油条, 江南,一千年以后, sa rang hae yo,etc on my iphone.

While I’m not exactly a fan of any particular singer, but I do admire those who can sing well like JJ Lin. Extra brownies point for he has written songs for various artists. In terms of looks, he exudes this charm of the boy next door. Oh wait, he is indeed Singapore’s most notable boy next door that made it big across Asia.

If you have always wanted to see JJ Lin in person, here’s a piece of good news for you. In conjunction with the launch of the Super 3in1 coffee advertisements both on screen and off screen, Super is bringing JJ’s exclusive 100day Live Super Tour 2010 in Malaysia, from KL Penang in West Malaysia to Kota Kinabalu In East Malaysia.
The showcase will feature some of his songs from the latest album. A series of limited number of Meet the Fan session will also be arranged.

If there is one good habit that I picked up over the years, it would be eating breakfast every morning. Under the influences of my colleagues who love their morning cuppa, I became a member of the breakfast club. So it is not surprising that we met up with an ex colleague over breakfast when we went down to Singapore last month.

The rendezvous point is Freshly Baked by Le Bijoux, a quaint little cafe right across from the Singtel building at Somerset. The cafe owner, Audrey, has trained in Los Angeles’ Ritz Carlton Hotel and worked in Saint Pierre and Archangel as a pastry chef before. And she was an ex cabin crew too! A beauty that can bake very well.

It’s that time of the year again. When the moon is at its roundest, children light lanterns and families devour mooncake which symbolizes reunion.
Nothing is more synonymous with the moon festival than the mooncake. It seems like hotels and restaurants have an early start on moon cake this year. The flavor selection is also getting better each year. Truffles, durian, birdnest, cheese, bacon, you name it, they have got it.

We were fortunate enough to be invited for an early sampling of Toh Lee’s latest mooncake offerings with an unique theme of “Five Elements”.

Toh Lee has also put a lot of thoughts in the the packaging. The octagon boxes with 8 sides carry auspicious colors of red and yellow. It just make a perfect gift to friends and families, and perhaps future in laws?

From Pura Taman Ayun, we hope onto the MPV and continued our journey to Bratan Lake. Located next to inactive volcanos Mount Bratan and Mount Catur, it is the second largest lake in Bali.
At 1000 metres above sea level, the weather is very cooling and comfortable over here. One of the main attraction here is the Pura Ulun Danu, a beautiful temple dedicated to Dewi Danu, the Lake Goddess.

The temple is sacred to the Balinese people, who come here to pray and leave offerings to the god.

Waterlily Cafe @ Mutiara Damansara that shares the same owner as Waterlily Cafe, Bumbu Bali and Ole Ole Bali serves authentic Balinese cuisine and also a small selection of Western food. Though located at a fairly new development area, the neighborhood lends itself to word-of-mouth advertising as patrons discover the cafe soon after they are opened for business.

The bistro is designed with beautiful hardwood teak flooring, wood-carved panel and balinese furnitures.
