Potluck party is so fun and simple: Whenever the impulse to gather your friends strikes, just give everyone a call and ask them to bring dishes to be shared with others. On the other hand, potluck dishes are easy enough to transport and theres minimal activity at host/hostess kitchen, such as reheating or microwave-ing.
I sort of organized a potluck cum housewarming party at our new rented condo few weeks ago. It was overwhelming as almost everyone turned up with some scrumptious home cooked food or delicious delicacies. They actually make it an effort to cook or travel all the way to buy the nicest food that they wish to be shared with everyone else. Can anyone guess what did Citygal prepare on the night itself? You can claim a lollipop from me if you guess it correctly.
Hustle bustle around the kitchen – Fruit cutting, reheating, toasting, dish washing……I’m so lazy to describe the food one by one but they taste as good as they look. Maybe it is the companions that make everything tastes so good. I forgot to snap a picture of Feast your eyes……
The Guys
“How to finish like that? Hou Sai ar…” Just take a look at Yong Zhi’s facial expression, you’ll laugh out loud.
Munlin, Yichang, Yong Zhi, Yi Quan, June, Waikit
Leeping and Suyen
Chin Kuang who brought the kena sapu habis Kajang Satay, adik beradik Ven who are having a hard time to finish off the mee hoon for subsequent days.
Imba Peh, the crab killer, Hups who claimed that he cooked the curry chicken but in fact it is dabao-ed and Kim Tat, the potential heir of kebab man in SS2 pasar malam.
Thanks a ton for everyone who came and I hope you find it as time well spent. There are humours, funs and some heart pounding-a lil bit obscene-hilarious pictures unveiled (you know who you are, the duo most feared by statues around Korea).
I really hope that we can have this again, eventhough the after math cleaning up is exhausting (*hinting*)!
