I can’t even contain my excitement when I think about the month of December. It’s one of my favourite months, if not, my most favorite month of the year. I love the holiday season. I love seeing everyone’s creativity come out with their holiday decorations. I love the cheerful giving that many participate in, and the most importantly I really enjoy a good Christmas spread!

At Curate, a spectacular international spread awaits, along with magical views of fireworks. Chef Junious and his team has created lots of exciting Christmas classics as well as a a bevy of fine foods: T’Lur local caviar, Foie Gras, Fine de Claire oysters, chilled Boston lobster, artisanal cheeses and premium chocolates. The Festive Buffet at Curate is available all through December (except 24 and 31) from 6-10.30 PM and priced at MYR 198 nett. Everything that you will be seeing below is available at the buffet spread, but in different presentation forms.
Boston Lobster Salad. A fresh lobster salad is all the delicious meat without the mess! I’ll go for this first at the buffet line.
Foei Gras Custard. Like any indulgence, every bite of foie gras is a memorable experience. I like how chef paired it with duck jelly, cranberry puree, sliced truffles and toasted brioche – so well balanced.
Smoked Oyster Stew. The smoked oysters added a smokey richness to this chowder. It’s rich, loaded with goodies, and so very delicious!
Mulled Wine Sorbet
I can’t believed that I said I love the Roasted Christmas Turkey at Curate, FSKL! It was brined and slow roasted for hours, resulted in a super juicy and tender texture. Even the breasts were good.
Turkey slices, stuffings, cranberry jam, charred brussels sprouts – it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Eggnog Cream with dehydrated trigona honey comb, caramel ice cream and milk powder crumble – what a perfect sweet ending!
Our night ended with a sweet surprise for our baby boy Asher. Thank you so much FSKL!
