Situated 40 floors above the ground in Element Kuala Lumpur, TRACE restaurant and bar is the latest sky dining venue in town that offers a stunning bird’s eye view of the city. It is an all-day dining restaurant that offers a relaxed, laidback breakfast and lunch during the day and evolve to offer more fine dining options in the evening.
This April, TRACE restaurant and bar introduces a 6-course wine pairing dinner featuring Italian wine from MAZZEI, specially picked to be paired with different courses from the menu. The menu is available from 9 April till 13 May 2018.
We started off with an amuse bouche of cauliflower mousse, citrus gelee and passion drop. The cauliflower mousse is creamy and comforting, and the citrus gelee+passion drop give it a refreshing touch.
Next, we had the tonic water poached prawn that almost resemble a truffle block. It is actually prawn paste shaped like a morsel and coated with dark bread crumbs and deep fried to perfection.
Our soup course is a Parmesan Consomme with Cheese Espuma. The nice and clear consomme has a very light cheese flavour that is not too overpowering. The foamy cheese espuma and cream cheese filled tortellini gave the dish some extra cheesy flavours but everything goes really well together.

The 48hr Braised Angus Short Rib is full-flavoured and fork tender. So good with some baby carrots, charred onions and beef au jus.
