Packing for winter travel is practically an art form. You want to pack light, and keep warm, but still look good. During our recent trip to Japan, the average daily temperature ranges from -2 °C to 8 °C. We also experienced a sudden snow storm and the temperature dropped to -6 °C when we were up at the beautiful Mt. Oyama.
Here’s some tips on choosing the right jacket for your winter holiday.
-Pack your coat according to the coldest destination/temperature on your trip.
-Pick a waterproof coat and don’t waste space on an extra rain jacket.
-Go for a slightly oversized coat that you can easily wear lots of layers underneath.
-If you’re spending most of your time in a seriously cold place, go for a long down-filled coat that’ll keep your thighs and bum bum extra cozy and warm!

This is one of my favourite jacket because of its length – it keeps my bum bum really warm! I love the detachable hood with adjustable stoppers too!
The sleeves are just the right length for me and the diameter is just right as well. Notice the fabric cuff at the end of the sleeve? Not only it adds texture to the jacket, it also prevents wind, protecting my arms from the chill.
The jacket is meant for -20 °C to 10 °C. I can easily zip it up or down depending on the weather condition.

With 30% Wool and 70% Polyester, it is an essential piece to staying warm and stylish this season.
DRESSY CASUAL DOWN JACKET WITH EXTRA-LARGE 2-WAY POCKETS
I picked this army green jacket to match kampungboy. Featuring 90% down and 10% feathers with extra large patched pockets, it also has super soft and extra thick hood lining to keep me warm in winter.
Another unique piece with unique chevron stitching on body and zipper. This jacket comes with removable hood and fur trim and knitted prints on lining.
