Kawaii, kawaii, kawaii. I couldn’t stop exclaiming that as I stepped into Alpacasso Cafe @ AEON, Mid Valley Megamall.
This is the first Japanese character collaborate pop-up cafe is opened at AEON Mid Valley Megamall by Anista Tokyo. Other characters include Pokemon, Doraemon, Rilakkuma and etc.
And the good news is, the main character of the café will be changed in every 2 to 3 months!
Alpacasso is very popular in Japan, and also in the United States! There are plenty of alpacasso merchandises available for sale here, and my favourite is this Rainbow Alpacas plush. So cute!!
We tried out some of the food items and beverages item such as the Garden Fresh Smoothie (RM17.80). It is a very refreshing and wholesome smoothies made with blended fresh spinach, apple, banana, orange juice, coconut water and honey.
Alpacasso Hot Latte (RM14.80) is served on a cute hot mug with Alpacasso latte art of course.
Here comes the signature drinks – Cotton Candy Alpacassoda (RM24.80)
Hold your breath and remember to take plenty of pictures. Spot the little face and ears? They are made out of edible rice cracker. Remember to pour the soda onto the cotton candy and push it down into the glass. The melted cotton candy gives the drink a sweet taste.
Garden Green Salad (RM19.80)
I love the fresh, crisp greens served together with special onion or Japanese dressing.
Alpacasso Curry Island (RM26.80)
White Alpacasso (Beef/Chicken) Burger (RM29.80)
Fluffy Alpacasso Pancakes (RM25.80)
Summer Danish Pillow (RM25.80)
The main items were actually quite decent, given that this is a character themed cafe. The desserts of course, were really really cute and I particularly enjoyed the summer danish pillow. The pastry was fresh, buttery and flaky, so good when eaten together with cold ice cream.
Alpacasso will stay as the main character until 15 November, before another character kicks in. Drop by soon!
