So I have been a user of Cleansui’s product for almost a year. Cleansui is a trusted brand of water purifier in Japan, its technology will remove contaminants but leave healthy minerals intact.
All Cleansui products are Made In Japan, which speaks a lot about its quality. We were using the Z9 counter top filter in our wet kitchen. The filtered water is not only clean, but it is also quite palatable with a mild sweet taste. Now that we are moving into our new place, we want every single drop of water in our unit to be filtered by Cleansui’s products.
I need to show you guys some disturbing images first.
What happened when you pour a bottle of rust water into Cleansui’s hollow fibre membrane filters?
It comes out as clear and clean drinkable water.
We were doing a small experiment here:
We poured some water from our washing basin into these two containers. KampungBoy soaked his palm into container B. Then we dropped some clorine tester into both container A&B but only container A showed positive chlorine result.
This is because all those chlorines in container B got attached to KampungBoy’s skin!! I can’t imagine that we have been washing our faces and bodies with chlorine water everyday, the worst thing is chlorine actually stays on the surface of our skin!!
All Cleansui products use hollow fibre membrane filter made of ultra-fine polyethylene. The sidewalls can remove the minute particles as 0.1 micrometer in tap water and bacteria, algae, fungi, micro-organisms, cysts, cryptosporidium, metal particles such as rust, lead and etc while retaiing the healthy minerals that our bodies need.

Its High Standard Filter removes 9 potentially harmful and unwanted contaminants in your drinking water, including bacteria.
The filter lasts up to 900 litre! Just a simple twist to replace the cartridge. Japanese DIY is easy!
CP015E Pitcher (RM 239), Replacement Cartridge (RM 119)
The pitcher is my favourite product because I can bring Cleansui clean water with me where I go, especially when we travel! It is designed to sit either horizontally OR vertically without spilling.
It comes with Cleansui’s Super High Grade Filter, which removes all those unwanted chemicals, toxins, and other contaminants, including bacteria.
The filter has a 200 litre capacity, which means 200 days if I use 1 liter a day, and a handy calendar dial on the lid to remind you at a glance when you need to replace your filter. A very Japanese looking design!
Z9E Counter Top Filter (RM 998), Replacement Cartridge (RM 659)
We will be getting another one of this in our kitchen.
The handy 3-way lever allows you to switch between filtered and unfiltered water with ease (providing 2 modes of unfiltered water- regular stream or the water-saving shower spray option).
The Z9E comes with Cleansui’s Super High Grade Filter, which removes all those unwanted chemicals, toxins, and other contaminants, including bacteria. All Cleansui’s products are priced reasonably, as we have seen water filteration products that cost a few thousands bucks. There’s no monthly “service” charge or other miscellaneous charges as well. So far, we have been quite happy with our counter top filter as the cartridge has lasted us for more than a year.
