Our first holiday for year 2014 (Singapore doesn’t count ahem) is made possible with great deals and discounts! We have been itching to go for a holiday trip for a very long time ever since the honeymoon trip last year. While we can’ afford to go for another big trip as such, small and short little getaways to Thailand doesn’t hurt right?
We will be traveling to Bangkok this Saturday and we have just booked our hotels today, just to make use of the Agoda Visa Wednesday discount of 12%! Visa and Agoda.com are running a series of Visa Wednesdays, which offer further reductions of up to 12% for all bookings made on Wednesdays with a Visa card from now until 4 June 2014. For example, a night in Lebua State Tower for only RM 400+?
Please allow me to correct myself, it is actually a night in Lebua State Tower’s 66 sq m suite for only RM 400 plus a night!
I’ve never thought about staying in any one of the Banyan Tree hotels around the world simply because it is too expensive to stay in one.
However, for less than RM 500 per night, or even lower after we apply the 12% discount, I really don’t mind spending a night here.

There are plenty of mid range hotels catered to budget conscious travelers too. I went through the list and found a few Agoda’s recommendation. These modern and chic hotels offers good value for money. If we make use of the Visa Wednesday discount, the hotel rates are even lower by 12%!
We will be spending a night here this week! The rate is only RM400 plus per night after discount. Such a steal! Remember to make your room reservations and bookings every Wednesday until 4th of June.
