Interior is very simple, but nice and clean. There’s also elegant tatami rooms catered to larger groups.

My whole family and my social cycle, is composed of nonsmokers and I am very glad they don’t. However, sometimes I do have to take in those whiffs of tobacco smoke that drifts into my airspace in a restaurant, on the street or at work. It’s annoying! Handphone, tablet, camera, note pad, pen, paper…these are some of the most essential items which I stuff into my handbag everyday. Kampungboy often asked, “What do girls carry around in their bag? It’s as heavy as a brick!”

Now with Samsung Galaxy Note, we can have the best of everything in one nifty gadget. Is it a phone or a tablet? Or me, it’s a smart combination of the two! It gives you the portability of a smartphone plus the high performance of a tablet. Now you can take notes easily and conveniently just like a regular notepad, organise your schedule and activities with the planner and enjoy the entertainment of countless games.
Weighing only 178g, the Samsung Galaxy Note packs a punch:
• High speed performance with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and 1.4GHz dual-core processor.
• See and do everything in life-size reality with the stunning 5.3” HD Super AMOLED display.
• Take notes easily and quickly with the S Pen stylus.
• Capture life’s greatest moments with the 8 mega-pixel rear camera and 2MP front camera.
• Store all your necessities with the internal memory of 16GB, upgradable to 32GB with microSD.
This means that I don’t need an extra handphone, tablet and camera. I can even throw away my pen, paper and portable gamer. Yay! No more heavy bags! All I need is just a 178g device!

#1 Kampung Lunch at Penghulu’s House

There’s nothing quite like savouring an unadulterated home-cooked meal while away from home. Hence, our resort took us to a kampung house. The friendly and humble folks who lived in there dished out a sumptuous spread of delightful dishes a la kampung.

The lunch spread comprised many dishes, including stir fried green beans, ikan masin, ayam goreng kampung, godok pisang and some kick ass sambal.
