Thanks to HKDL, we spent magical 2D1N in Disneyland Park as well as Disneyland Resort Hotel. Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is located on Lantau Island, and is accessible via an array of convenient transportation options.

We just came back from our Hong Kong trip! It was my third time to Hong Kong but the city never ceases to surprise and inspire me. Together with Ivy, we’ve had some great meals, met some great people and did quite a lot of shopping (look away in guilt).

Here’s a roundup of where we’ve been and what we have gulped down. Detailed posts will be followed shortly, just like our HK Trip in year 2009. Scroll down and enjoy the pictures!

Huck’s Cafe (revisit) & WineActually.com

Remember Huck’s Cafe? It was my second time here; and this time I brought along the usual suspects – C&C, Ivy & Wen Ching. We wanted to throw a special birthday dinner for the birthday boy & girl (C&C) and nothing beats a made-to-order meal with personal touches. So Huck’s Cafe it is!

Plan B @ Bangsar Village I

IMG_4120
I know, I know! This must be the “n”th reviews that you have read about Plan B in the past few weeks or so. I promise to make it short and sweet.

Word spreads just as fast as bush fire because Plan B looks like it’s crowded ALL the time, at least in peak hour. Well, what’s not to like about Plan B?

It is an experience to simply browse through the extensive selection of pastries and breads displayed at the island and savoring the beautiful delicacies inside the glass dome cake stand. Tempting customers by the front door is a large glass display of jewel-like displays of mouth watering desserts.

Jade Pot Steamboat 一品锅 @ Old Klang Road

jadepot
It has been raining almost incessantly in the past week or so. So the best thing to do on a rainy day is to have a wholesome steamboat feast that can warm me up.

The reason was strong enough to lead us to Jade Pot, a steamboat restaurant located in a stand alone building opposite Pearl Point, Old Klang Road. The cozy oriental themed surrounding is perfect for family dining or friends’ gathering.

Lots of you have asked me before, “Citygal, how do you pack for your trip?” Well, packing for a trip can be challenging, but there are some travel essentials to include on any trip, regardless of destination.
IMG_3519
For example, I always make sure that I bring along a pair of comfortable shoes, voltage converter, plug adapter, and of course my personal toiletries because keeping your skin fresh and hydrated when traveling is very important.
IMG_3543

For example, during my recent trip to Hong Kong, I brought along my Olay White Radiance CeLlucent White Essence and White Cream. UV levels can still be high throughout the winter season, and to makes thing worst, the low humidity and strong winds causes chapped and dehydrated skin. So apart from my sun block, the Olay White Radiance skin care powered by CelLucent complex helps me in getting dual whitening action for natural, luminous fairness.
