Brewerkz Restaurant & Microbrewery @ Clarke Quay, Singapore
We went to Singapore last Christmas and Clarke Quay is one of the must visit place for KampungBoy. While waiting for sun set to start taking photos of downtown sky line, we killed our time at Brewerkz, an iconic restaurant featuring a full range of premium beers handcrafted on-site from the 10 hl microbrewery attached to the restaurant.

Do you know that Singapore now boasts 6 microbreweries and we even have one in Malaysia right now! Craft Brew in Damansara Perdana is importing Singaporean beer brand RedDot and American brews, Flying Dogs and Rogue. Now I’m tempted to try the spirulina beer in a pretty shade of green from Craft Brew. Anyone?
(click to enlarge). It was very difficult for us to narrow down our choices because of such an extensive beer selection. We took the recommendation of Golden Ale and Indian Pale Ale, priced at sgd 5.99 and sgd 6.99 respectively (3pm and 6pm). Oh and if you are in the evening, be prepared to pay more (about double the price).

I had the girly beer – Golden Ale. It was refreshing, smooth, light and goes down easily. KampungBoy’s Indian Pale Ale India was slightly bitter, full flavoured and heavy.

Remember to drop by for a pint or two if you happen to be around Singapore. My cousin told me that the food was really good too!
