shall penang blogger have a word here? indeed, its ONLY a food List, BUT not a good choice for all. is like a seng ah beng all in become rojak. 80% of the listed hawker are mostly not recommended.

wah… what a long long list!!
ok just at a glance, i would say no to sister’s CKT, try Ah Leng’s like Squall mentioned.
And i think bee hooi no longer serves dim sum in the mornings and the really good loh bak at corner kopitiam of lebuh carnavon/lebuh melayu is no longer there.

if you do come to penang, do look me up! we go on a pg makan trip

hey ya, i have the same list too, have no idea where the source came from, but I have brought this list with me to penang and tried to hunt down the places.

The murtabak at Hameediyah Restaurant, Lebuh Campbell is really good, plus their nasi kandar. They have been around for bout 100 years !

u should cum chai leng park , butterworth , bukit mertajam,try other fudss..
i think thier char keoy teow n chicken rice n dim sum oso nice…

restoran canton & teow chew food delight (their white chicken very nice dry hor fun and wanton soup etc)
18 , lebuh kurau 3,taman chai leng park 13700 prai

thy oso gt another restuarant is selling teow chew foods n dim sum…jz near by tis shop…
chinese name is ‘mei siang wei’ too..english name is – restoran chao zhou

For char koay teow must go to try Ah Leng Char Koey Teow with mantis prawn @ Jalan Dato Keramat…for chendol is still Malacca better….Lol-lok is pulau tikus market.
