Jogoya came up with its buy-1-free-1 too (well their math is that you need pay the taxes for the ‘free’ portion, weird)

I tried them out but I think Jogoya is totally over-rated. Officially made it to my cannot-make-it list… :(

I’ve tasted Yaki Yaki before, I think Monday is a good day to try out. Less crowd. When I was there,
there were just a couple of people there so the service was perfect.
They even helped us with the barbeque, needless for us to barbeque
ourselves, neither do we have to queue…
    However it’s uncomparable to Jogoya!

Daidomon is the most over priced Japanese buffet that I’d ever had. I went there last Saturday for dinner RM68++(without the 50% discount) . The varities on the buffet is so few and the quality of the food at the buffet table is worst than the “chinese economy rice”. Most of the spread were like frozen pack stuffs i.e, fried fishball, curry fishball, fried noodle, chicken boxing, some fried veges, and the rest you would hardly wanted remember and feel like trying. The only food worth trying is the BBQ meat stuff, that is upon order, same goes to the shashimi. You have to keep calling the waiter to make an order. For the price I’d paid I would rather pay an extra RM10 to JAgoya and get a better quality and varieties of food.

Lately there have been promotion at almost all Japanese buffet restaurant.I’ve tried Tenji , Jogoya , Yaki Yaki and today Saisaki. Guess what? Saisaki buffet lunch cost Rm 25 nett. Yet they have the best food and most variety compare to others that i’ve tried. Food quality was unbelievable good and nicely displayed especially their wide variety of sushi. Take note that their taxes was added in after the discounted price unlike all others. Definately worth your money and a must try. Will be trying Shogun next. Same management as Saisaki restaurant.
