Hing Loong Taiwanese Noodles @ Damansara Utama
Sorry for the long hiatus. We were busy preparing for our papers, which is a lengthy and arduous process.
Let us get started on Hing Loong, a Taiwanese noodle shop at Damansara Uptown. It originates from Malacca and one of the partner’s mum happens to be a Taiwanese.
Chilled Tofu with Chicken Floss (RM 4.90). The tofu has a slight sour taste and the gravy is too salty for our liking.
We also tried out the signature dish – Shanghai Deep Fried Pork Chop Noodles (RM 5.50). I used to frequent their Malacca outlet for this. The noodles, made of soy bean, are smooth and chewy while the deep fried pork is flavorful and tender. An extra order of the deep fried pork (RM 3.50) was ordered to satisfy our cravings.
We reckon that only the signature Shanghainese Deep Fried Pork Chop Noodles is good and worth trying. With the reasonable pricing and attentive services, we wouldn’t mind dropping by for a quick fix.

I could do with any meal with deep fried pork… and an extra serving! What is the deal with soy bean noodles btw? They are so damn tasty!
