Kanna’s is gooood. Another place for Banana Leaf lovers is Sam’s Kitchen. I have been a regular at this place. Super food and clean environment.

Food is ok. but to charge .30 sen for air kosong is a bit calculative. Its Indian custom to place banana leaf and a glass of water on the table b4 serving the food. The proprietor is not going to lose by giving free sky juice to his customers.

i had a very bad experience with the branch in Menjalara. It seems like when time for lunch, the whole service team seems to shut off. Even when we went direct to them, they scoffed us for disturbing their meal. After completing their meal, i asked the one who is the cashier about my earlier order and he shouted back saying that he was eating just now. this is not the first incidence, my friends have also experienced this before and has barred this place from their list of mamaks. I think with this kind of attitude and service, less people will go. We pay you money to be scolded, you think anyone be so stupid to accept that? this is bad reputaion for you even if your food are great.

I love the curry and and of all the chicken a lot…. man im fron singapore and i love the food there…………. everytime i come down i drop by my aunts place jus to eat the food…. im an indian and trust me being one and telling u these food here is very nice…. shouldnt u be heading there to try some.. and ive seen some local celebrities ther too……….

We were here in 2006. The food was spicy and yummy. Atmosphere was great with waiters buzzing around like busy bees. I will highly recommend this restaurant and we have to our frinds in england.we will be visiting pj soon and “we will be back”.

there is another hidden gem at the corner of the shoplots (same row as kanna), sells banana leaf rice as well, no signage, very discreet and with very farnie owner that performs magic tricks for customers :p Do give their curry crab a try.

wow ! what a makan ! so heavy and rich
isn’t it strange ( and a shame )that one of the best tasting meets ( mutton)
is generally spurned by the Chinese…s i g h .
